BRX Retail is among the best IT companies to work for in Brazil in 2026
Note: the statistical indicators presented refer to the set of companies analyzed by GPTW, and not to the individual results of BRX Retail.

BRX Retail achieved an important national recognition on November 4, 2026, by integrating the ranking of the Best Companies to Work for in Information Technology 2026, promoted by Great Place To Work (GPTW).
The company reached 22nd place among small IT companies in Brazil, reinforcing its commitment to building a work environment based on trust, collaboration, and professional development.
This achievement occurs in a scenario where organizational culture is gaining increasing importance for the competitiveness of technology companies.
The GPTW Information Technology 2026 study reveals that recognized organizations stand out not only for their employees' experience but also for indicators related to innovation, talent retention, and business performance.
A recognition in one of the most competitive sectors in the country
In its 21st edition, the GPTW Information Technology ranking brought together 581 participating companies, involving more than 420,000 employees across Brazil.
From this universe, 140 organizations were recognized as the best to work for, distributed across three categories:
- 30 small companies;
- 80 medium-sized companies;
- 30 large companies.
The evaluation considers the perception of the professionals themselves regarding their work experiences, in addition to organizational information analyzed by the GPTW methodology.
The For All methodology seeks to assess whether trust, respect, pride, and opportunities are consistently shared experiences among different groups of employees.
In this context, BRX's recognition represents its presence in a select group of organizations that have stood out for the quality of their work environment.
Trust and camaraderie are the key differentiators of the best companies
One of the most relevant findings of the study is the importance of human relationships within organizations.
Among the awarded Information Technology companies, camaraderie scored an average of 92 points, the highest among the five dimensions evaluated by GPTW.
Pride reached 91 points, while credibility and respect each recorded 90 points.
These results highlight the relevance of environments where professionals find trust in leadership, respect in relationships, and identification with the work they do.
The camaraderie dimension, in particular, is associated with collaboration, team spirit, and mutual support.
For a sector characterized by complex projects, constant changes, and high technical specialization, this result deserves attention.
The ability to work together is not just a desirable characteristic of the professional environment. It can also contribute to problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and the adaptability of teams.
Quality of life surpasses compensation as a reason for retention
Another significant result of the survey relates to the factors that lead professionals to stay with companies.
In 2026, 40% of employees from awarded companies pointed to quality of life as the main reason for staying in their organizations.
Growth opportunities ranked second, with 35%, followed by alignment of values, with 9%, and compensation and benefits, also with 12%.
The numbers show that the professional experience goes far beyond financial compensation.
Healthy environments, development opportunities, trust-based relationships, and work-life balance influence the decision to remain in an organization.
The study also identified an important difference in retention intention.
Among employees of the best IT companies, 90% stated that they intend to work in their organizations for a long time.
In non-awarded companies, this indicator is 85%.
The five percentage point difference reinforces the association between a positive work experience and the desire to build a long-term career in the same company.
Awarded companies exhibit greater capacity for innovation
In a sector driven by technological transformation, the survey also analyzed the relationship between organizational culture and innovation.
Through the Innovation Velocity Index (IVR), GPTW assesses organizations' ability to provide conditions for their professionals to contribute new ideas, improvements, and changes.
The study identifies three stages of maturity: friction, functional, and accelerated.
In the accelerated stage, innovation is not restricted to small groups or specialized areas. It finds conditions to happen more broadly within the organization.
In 2026, 31% of awarded companies were in the accelerated stage of innovation, compared to 16% of non-awarded companies.
This means that the proportion of organizations in this stage was approximately twice as high among the awarded ones.
The conclusion is particularly relevant for the Information Technology sector.
Innovating does not depend solely on tools, investments, or teams dedicated to research and development.
It also requires environments where professionals have the confidence to propose improvements, experiment with new approaches, and participate in building solutions.
Organizational culture and business performance
The GPTW data also presents an economic perspective on the recognized companies.
According to the survey, the best awarded Information Technology companies in 2026 recorded an average revenue growth of 15% in the last analyzed annual period.
As a reference, the study compares this result to the expansion of 2.3% of the Brazilian Gross Domestic Product in 2025.
Although this comparison does not establish a direct cause-and-effect relationship between culture and growth, it shows that organizations recognized for their professionals' experience can also present significant economic performance.
The study also points out relevant differences in aspects associated with professional development.
In awarded companies, the average perception score for training and development opportunities was 88 points, compared to 79 in non-awarded organizations.
These indicators reinforce the importance of management that combines results, human development, and favorable conditions for innovation.
What this recognition represents for BRX
For BRX Retail, the results of the study connect with principles that are part of its organizational identity.
Specialized in Oracle Retail solutions and technological transformation for retail, BRX believes that technical knowledge and excellence in execution must go hand in hand with trust, collaboration, and people development.
Its Culture Code encompasses values such as ethics, commitment, innovation, boldness, gratitude, and collaboration, as well as a philosophy of abundant mindset, grounded in building opportunities and sharing knowledge.
One of its principles summarizes this vision:
“Culture is not what we say. It is what we do.”
In practice, this means valuing long-term relationships, encouraging continuous learning, and recognizing that collective success depends on the contribution of each professional.
The national recognition comes after another important achievement: 4th place in the GPTW Paraná 2026 ranking, in the small companies category.
Both awards reinforce the trajectory of a company that seeks to grow while preserving the values and relationships that sustain its operations.
A victory for the people who build BRX
The GPTW Information Technology 2026 study demonstrates that the best work experiences are associated with fundamental elements: trust, respect, collaboration, quality of life, growth opportunities, and capacity for innovation.
More than isolated characteristics, these factors help explain why organizational culture occupies a strategic role in technology companies.
For BRX, being among the best IT companies to work for in Brazil is a source of pride, but it also represents a permanent commitment to the evolution of its work environment.
The achievement belongs to the people who, daily, share knowledge, face challenges, support colleagues, and contribute to transforming technology into results for clients.
To all the employees who are part of this journey, our recognition and gratitude.
Technology transforms businesses. But it is people who build an extraordinary company.
